Be about to：
計畫好的事件，而且很快就會發生或是馬上就要發生的事情
2000 workers at the factory are about to lose their jobs.
那工廠2000名員工就要失業了。
Hurry up! The ceremony is about to begin.
快點，典禮馬上要開始了。
I’m about to leave my office.
我要離開辦公室了。
Be+to+V（不定詞）：
十分正式，一般在口語中不太常說，屬於新聞書寫中時常用來表達未來的方式，在標題上通常省略be動詞，直接加to
The new PM is to fly to US.
新上任的總理將要飛往美國=The new PM to fly to US.
有未來計畫的動詞：
hope to/plan to/intend to
Josh plans to study abroad next year.
明年Josh計畫去國外讀書。
She hopes to go back there someday.
她期盼能再回到那裡。
