「沒時間」
說到「我沒時間」，直接說「I have no time.」有點像是命令，不太有禮貌，所以別再這樣說啦！
●I'm tied up. 我走不開
I'm tied up in a meeting at the moment, so call me later.
我現在在開會，人走不開，等等再打給我吧！
○I've got a lot going on. 我有很多事要忙
I've got a lot going on. I don't have time for a lunch break today.
我很多事要忙，今天沒時間吃午餐。
○I'm a bit pressed for time. 我時間緊迫
I'm a bit pressed for time, so I'm just popping out for a few minutes to grab a bit to eat.
我事情有點多，所以打算出去幾分鐘吃點東西就好。
「一對一會議」
有些人說到「一對一」，會用one by one，但其實意思不太正確喔！就來一起學學正確的用法怎麼說吧！
●one-on-one 一對一的
I feel nervous when talking one-on-one with people.
和別人一對一談話的時候，我感到很緊張。
○one-to-one 一對一的（英式）
Helen's performance wasn't up to snuff. She needs one-to-one training.
海倫的表現不如預期。她需要一對一的訓練。
○one versus one 一打一（用於遊戲或比賽）
In the video game, you'll have to fight one versus one against players in your level.
在這個電玩中，你要和同等的玩家進行一打一的決鬥。

「邊緣人」
邊緣人的英文可以怎麼說？其實有很多單字可以表示「邊緣人」，就來看看哪個單字最符合你的邊緣指數吧！
●loner 孤僻的人，邊緣人
Joseph was always a loner when he was in college.
喬瑟夫在大學的時候是個邊緣人。
○outsider （不被某團體接受的）局外人
I felt like an outsider in the club.
我覺得自己在社團裡面像個局外人。
○outcast 被社會拋棄的人
As a social outcast, I don't know where I belong.
我被社會拋棄，不知到何去何從。
「吃土」
每次到月底荷包空空、手頭拮据，最常聽到月光族說的話就是「吃土」了 > <。不過雖然要吃土了，但英文還是要學啦！一起吃土吃起來～～
●skint身無分文的；沒錢的
I’m always skint by the end of the month.
我每個月底都會吃土。
○broke沒錢的
Sandy was broke after she bought a new cellphone.
珊迪在她買了手機之後吃土了。
○payday發薪日
I’m looking forward to payday.
希望快點發薪水。
「菜鳥」「馬屁精」
