Eric: C hris, you’ve been such a generous host that I’d like totreat you to a night at the theater. What do you fancy?A play, opera, dance performance or musical?
Chris: That would be lovely. I am a real die-hard fan of West End1musicals, so let’s dress up2 a bit and go to a musical.
Eric: Great. I’ve already seen the epic3 musical Les Miserables, but there are 29 other shows to choose from in London’s Theatreland4. Shall we see abestseller5 or something less mainstream6?
Chris: Let’s check out one of the biggies7, maybe Lion King, Thriller Live or Wicked. You know, I’veheard that the tribute8 to Michael Jackson’s music has received standing ovations9 acrossEurope.
Eric: Yes, by all accounts Thriller Live is a must-see10. How can you go wrong with MJ’s catchytunes11and breathtaking12choreography13?
Chris: It’s decided then. Let’s go to the TKTS ticket booth14 in Leicester Square15. It is the best place togo for discount16 theater tickets.
Eric: One last thrill17 in London. Lead the way …
Eric:
